Founder Wang Qiang worked part-time in a restaurant during his study abroad and identified inefficiencies in restaurant operations. He then joined forces with a team to create an integrated service solution for Chinese restaurants in the U.S., with a POS system at its core. The company has gone through three development stages: initially focusing on SaaS-based management efficiency services, then expanding to a full lifecycle service system for the catering industry, and now helping Chinese restaurants upgrade toward automation and intelligence. In 2024, MenuSifu completed a $40 million Series B financing to advance its catering automation ecosystem and expand market share.
Centered on a POS system that highly integrates ordering, payment, inventory, and cloud services, MenuSifu provides one-stop services covering payment, online ordering, marketing, fintech, and catering consulting. It has established a comprehensive management system encompassing supply chain, operations, and customer relations.
